Before we wrote our first line of computer code, our software design team began working full-time in January, 2008, in a seven-employee, two-physician medical office. After fve months of making appointments, registering patients, getting authorizations, searching for patient records, filing insurance claims, disputing denials, posting EOB's, creating patient bills, answering patient's questions, collecting patient balances, and more, we had a pretty good idea of the challenges and opportunities to improving productivity that you face each day.

Over the next 18 months, we developed tools within a comprehensive framework that address the issues that were causing frustration, confusion, mistakes, and inefficiency; we also used our computer expertise to develop new tools to positioned the office at the forefront of the electronic age. We used these tools ourselves in the physicians' office and honed them based on our experience and feedback from patients and the physicians. Then, after letting the physicians' regular staff use them, we honed them some more. The result: a comprehensive suite of software tools tailored for the doctors, staff, patients, and work of a small physician's office.

Who We Are

We're Provider Solutions, LLC, a New Jersey based company with over 10 years of experience in a number of Internet and software businesses, including providing computer systems that doctors use to automate their offices. Provider MD is our flagship product, which is available for lease or offered over the internet in a "cloud computing" environment. Provider MD is also the foundation for our outsourced payroll and billing services.

What Can Provider MD Do?

Provider MD consists of five modules:

• Scheduling - manages your appointment schedule
• Registration (& Copays) - manages the registration of patients, including pre-printing patient information for verification, printing appropriate agreements and notices, scanning insurance cards, and collecting co-payments and outstanding balances
• eChart - organizes electronic information (notes, laboratory tests, images, etc.) about each patient
• Billing - generates electronic and CMS-1500 claims to insurance companies and bills to patients, posts electronic remits and mailed payments, and tracks the entire payment process from claim generation through final collection
• Time Reporting & Payroll - simplifies recording employee hours and produces paychecks, pay stubs, state and federal filing information, and more

These are full-function modules that provide sophisticated computerized capabilities.

Safety and Security

The last thing you need is for your computer system to fail you. Provider MD is designed to meet HIPAA security standards for privacy and protection of patient information. Internal data encryptions methods 'encode' all data and images before they are transmitted over the Internet.

Equally important, each night Provider MD automatically creates an archival copy of all of your data and images and stores them both locally and remotely to protect you from data loss and/or corruption. And because the back-ups are automatic and online, no extra effort is required by you or your staff.
