| New "Open" Penpal Lists |
(16 May 04) - We are expanding our "open"
penpals lists at PawChat.com. What do we mean by "open" lists?
These lists allow you to add a few lines
about yourself and your interests.
Also, you do not need to be a member of CliqueFriends to use these lists. However, CliqueFriends members (free and premium) can use their CliqueFriends ID and thereby protect the privacy of their email address.

(10 September 03) - Now, more detailed information
is available on the "Close Up"
page for members seeking "Friendship
and Romance." Just click the "more"
link after locating someone through the search
page.
The "My Objective"
section summarizes
the member's dating objectives.
The "My
Description" section provides
information
on physical characteristics (height,
weight,
body style, etc.) as well as
lifestyle information
(marital status, children, smoking
habit,
etc.) The "My Thoughts"
section
provides insight into the member's
thoughts
and philosophy.
You must enter your Member ID and password
to access the "Close Up" page.
By using the "return to previous page"
button, you can save yourself form having
to retype your password as you move from
one member's profile to another. |
| Changes for Members Seeking "Friends
and Romance" |
(1 September 03) - As previously announced
and in keeping with industry practices, we
are restricting the ability of FREE members
to initiate contact with new members who
are seeking "Friends and Romance."
At least one of the members (you or the member
you wish to contact) must be a Premium member
in order to initiate contact.
Because "Premium member" status
indicates a higher degree of commitment,
this change will improve the quality of mail
that a member seeking "Friends and Romance"
receives.
There is no change for Premium members or
for FREE members who which to contact members
who are seeking "Friends Only."
Also, FREE members who joined before today
will continue to have the flexibility to
choose to receive mail from "Premium
members only" or "all members."

(3 August 03) - We have moved the CliquePals
home page and renamed our award-winning website
to "CliqueFriends." Only our name
and home page has changed -- all else remains
the same: same ID, same password, same great
group of friends.

| Now FREE Members Seeking "Friends and Romance"
can Upload Photos |
(28 July 03) - Effective today, we are enhancing the ability for
Free members seeking "Friends and Romance" to meet others. Free members seeking "Friends and Romance" may now sign in
to the "My Account" page and upload their portrait
photo for display along with their Listing. Our statistics show that Listings with photos generate significantly more
mail than those without.
As previously announced, on or about August
1, 2003, Free members who add their photos
will no longer be able to contact other Free
members, but they will still be able to receive
and reply to mail from all members and to
contact Premium members, provided that they
meet the other member's criteria.
Premium members continue to enjoy full access
to the CliqueFriends/CliquePals system. For more information

| (25 July 03) - On Monday, July 28th, the
cost to become a Premium member will rise
to $6.95 for 60 days. If you upgrade your membership before then,
the price is only $4.95 for 6 months. |

(22 July 03) - We will be restructuring the "Friendship and Romance" program on Monday, July 28, 2003, and
aligning it more closely with our Premium membership.
These changes only affect free members seeking
"Friendship and Romance." All members seeking "Friendship
Only" and all Premium members
will continue
to have the ability to email
each other for
free as before.
The changes are:
- Starting Monday, free members seeking "Friendship
and Romance" will be able
to post a
photo for free.
- Starting on or about August 1, 2003, only
Premium members will be able to initiate
contact with free members seeking "Friendship
and Romance." Free members will be able
to continue to reply, however, to notes from
all members.
Premium members seeking "Friendship
and Romance" will still be able to receive
notes from and send notes to all free and
Premium members. Free members will still
be able to reply to notes from free and Premium
members.
Concurrent with this change,
the price
of a Premium membership will
increase. The
new rates will be:
- $6.95 for 60 days
- $15.95 for 6 months
- $24.95 for 1 year
Members interested in "Friendship and
Romance" should take advantage of the
opportunity to upgrade their membership to
Premium or to renew their Premium membership
at the current price ($4.95 for 6 months
or $7.95 for 1 year) before the rates go
up on Monday. For more information about

| Romance Profile |
(18 July 03) - We have expanded the "CloseUp"
information for members seeking "Friendship
and Romance" by adding a required Romance
Profile to the newly redesigned CloseUp page.
All new "Friendship and Romance"
members must complete a Romance Profile before
their Listing will be shown.
The Romance Profile includes three new categories
of information about the member ("Objective,"
"Description," and "Thoughts")
in addiition to the standard CloseUp information
("Member Statistics," "Listing,"
and the optional additional photos). You
can use this information to assist in finding
that romantic soulmate for whom you have
been searching.
Existing "Friendship and Romance"
members may add their own Romance Profile
by going to "My Account" and clicking
on the "Romance" tab. All "Friendship
and Romance" members must complete a
Romance Profile by August 1, 2003 or their
listing will be changed to "Friendship
Only."
To see an example of the new Romance questionnaire,
find the Listing for any "Friendship
and Romance" member on the main Search
page ("Friendship and Romance"
members are marked with the red heart ( ). Once you locate their Listing, sign in
and then click on the "More..."
link (just above their mail link)
to open
their CloseUp page. The new Romance
Profile
is included in the newly redesigned
CloseUp
page.
