to consider before buying a car
stereo:
- Decide whether you want a comprehensive system
or individual tuner, amplifier components.
- Make sure the speakers equal or exceed the
performance of your stereo. Nothing ruins
sound faster than tinny or otherwise bad
performing speakers. Speakers have different
attributes, so test them with the type of
music you will be playing. Also, test speakers
by listening to their performance from the
corner rather than directly in front of them
because that is most likely where you'll
be in your car.
- Remember to figure in the cost of installation
to your total budget.
